Pro Wrestling Revolution and the NWA working in Chile

Hollywood, CA (August 11, 2011) – NWA Pro Wrestling, Inc. (NWA Pro) welcomes Chile’s premiere pro wrestling promotion “Xplosion National de Lucha Libre” into the National Wrestling Alliance®.

“Over the years, we have been very successful with international ventures. Our intent is to co-promote the NWA™ brand in South America. The promoters of the company truly understand marketing and media and we are currently working on a shared services plan covering video, merchandise and talent,” said David Marquez, President of NWA Pro Wrestling, Inc. Marquez has assigned NWA Bay Area representative Gabriel Ramirez to supervise the new business. Ramirez is the promoter of the highly popular NWA: Pro Wrestling Revolution promotion.

Pro Wrestling Revolution on Television and DVD!

MASKED REPUBLIC TO DISTRIBUTE PRO WRESTLING REVOLUTION ON TELEVISION AND DVD

August 11, 2011 – San Diego, CA

Masked Republic, the leading lucha libre production, distribution, and merchandising company outside of Mexico, has signed a long term distribution agreement with Pro Wrestling Revolution, the leading independent lucha libre promotion in the United States.

Fans who followed Masked Republic’s Viva La Lucha pay-per-view series are already familiar with PWR who’s stars including “El Patron of the Border Patrol” Oliver John, Vaquero Fantasma, and Pro Wrestling Revolution Heavyweight Champion the legendary Blue Demon Jr.

Under the new agreement, Masked Republic will serve as the exclusive distributor of Pro Wrestling Revolution programming on television and DVD throughout the world.

“We have had great reaction for the Pro Wrestling Revolution matches that have been included on our pay-per-view series and as our our new home entertainment distribution agreement with Allegro Entertainment and new opportunity for syndication throughout the United States because of our new relationship with Dynamite Media have lead us to seek non-Masked Republic produced content for distribution, it made perfect sense to have Pro Wrestling Revolution be the first company we signed to an agreement,” said Masked Republic CEO Ruben Zamora.

Beginning in September, Masked Republic will be releasing an average of two dvds a month into retail stores in the U.S. and Canada via Allegro Entertainment. The first two releases will be Viva La Lucha: Revolution, a special edition of the first Masked Republic pay-per-view event, and Masked Republic presents: Pro Wrestling Revolutuion: Mexico vs. The Border Patrolâ„¢, a compilation of the best matches from Pro Wrestling Revolution featuring some of the biggest names in lucha including Blue Demon Jr., Rey Misterio Sr. Hijo De Rey Misterio, and Octagoncito battling The Border Patrol, the evil stable of American wrestlers determined to keep lucha out of the United States.

Additionally, Masked Republic’s recently signed agreement with Dynamite Media, LLC will see the company distribute programming into over 50 Million homes starting this Fall via the America One network. Pro Wrestling Revolution’s Uprising will be the first series distributed through this deal. Said Chad Socolovich, CEO of Dynamite Media, “We are extremely excited to be working with Masked Republic in our latest TV distribution efforts. Masked Republic has a great history of developing and distributing top notch content and Pro Wrestling Revolution’s Uprising will bring great West coast lucha libre action to the America One network for the first time.”

We welcomed the Kung Fu Panda to our roster, and from the sounds of all the kids in attendance , they loved him, KOKIS from Radio Lazer make his pro wrestling debut, and we all witnessed Blue Demon Jr and El Patron of the Border Patrol® in a cage match that gave us more than people expected. as Blue Demon Jr. remained the Pro Wrestling Revolution Heavyweight Champion.

Our sponsors were ore than happy with what they saw and we look forward to working with them again in the near future!

Pro Wrestling Revolution returns to Watsonville on July 30th, 2011 at the Fairgrounds, with its biggest show of 2011. This show has so many elements that makes it special. We have the Revolution debut of female wrestler Thunderkitty, the debut of Kung Fu Panda, and the Radio Lazer challenge.

The main event, the match between the Pro Wrestling Revolution Heavyweight Champion “La mascara del demon azul” Blue Demon Jr. taking on, the Border Patrol’s â„¢ Oliver John, as they put all the years of anger, rage  and backlash, and bottled into a cage!

Radio Lazer – ¿Hace Luchadores?

Pro Wrestling Revolution has partnered with Radio Lazer over the years, from Santa Maria to Monterey County. The big event taking place on July 30th in Watsonville at Fairgrounds has taken a slight spin when we had Jorge Segundo or known to listeners of Lazer Radio, as “KOKIS” a radio personality, showed up at our training school ready to train and a redone behind it.

KOKIS has issued a challenge to Salvador Prieto from Radio Lazer’s Corporate office, in Oxnard. There has been no official response from Salvador, besides a ” I will be there!” Kokis has been training and has taken Anarkia as his tag team partner for this event and Hijo del Misterioso has been appointed Salvador Prieto’s partner…. wow!

This is going to be an event for all of the Monterey County to come out and see!
