Cinco de Mayo!

The Cinco de Mayo parade came and went and by far it was an experience that will stick with us in our minds for years to come. Having all of us meet so early in the day and coming together as a team was great and I am thankful for all the help of the wrestlers that came out in support. It was fun walking down the parade in Oakland and seeing so many kids excited to see the great costumes and supporting us. As we walked down you could hear ” Arriba los RUDOS” which is the way a Lucha fan shows his support of the bad guy.

There were so many thing that took place, but the person who stuck out the and was popular will all kids and adults was Jeckles the Jester. Watching him dance ” El Tapatio” with a group of kids was something that those kids will never forget. Here are some pictures that shows are adventure…

Revolution – May 17th

Pro Wrestling Revolution has been working very hard on trying to make this show be successful for many reasons and we feel we have done as much as we can to do just that. With the show only a few weeks away, this is crunch time. Have the show in San Jose is very special to many of us at Pro Wrestling Revolution. Many of us started watching wrestling at a young age and San Jose was where we got to watch what later would be a part of our everyday lives.

We are thankful for all the help we have received from all the wrestlers and volunteers and the appreciate what all our sponsors, Wild 94.9 and El Mensajero have done for the show.

We have been waiting to announce the official line-up for the show for a few weeks now, but we wanted to wait for the one last special match to make the show that much better. With all that being said lets announce the card for Saturday, May 17th at Mount Pleasant High School in San Jose

Cinco de Mayo Parade!

We are very proud to announce that Pro Wrestling Revolution will be taking part in the Cinco de May Parade on Sunday May 4th in Oakland. We were invited to join the team of our proud sponsor El Mensajero as we walk down the parade. This is very special to use as the exposure is great and a great experience for all involved. We will be involved in the parade more than just the parade, as we will be taking part in another event, the very same day!

ComedySportz – Revolution Images

It is very difficult to put into words what took place this past weekend, and how fun, exciting and interesting was, but I am sure the great people at ComedySportz in San Jose can find a way to “pantomime” it.

We were treated like family from day one and we can’t thank Jeff, Jordan, Rosa and everybody there enough for what we learned and were taught. I can only hope were were able to teach them something as well. We all feel we made good success in getting the word out about the upcoming fund raiser at Mount Pleasant High School on May 17th in San Jose. You can get your tickets here There is a possibility of Pro Wrestling Revolution and ComedySportz getting together again and hopefully, settle the score.

ComedySportz San Jose vs. Pro Wrestling Revolution – Rematch

The tables are turned when the pro wrestlers try to learn improv from the CSz professionals… The shows are this weekend and everybody is ready for the clash of styles that is coming our way. We hope to see all our fans come out and support us because are going to need it as we show that Pro Wrestling Revolution can do it all… I hope. Get your tickets here, the code for small discount is “gutbuster” and we’ll see you at the show!

ComedySportz vs. Pro Wrestling Revolution

cmzvsrev.jpgComedySportz and Pro Wrestling Revolution have joined forces to make a great tag team. ComedySportz will be a sponsor for Revolution’s live event on Saturday May 17th at Mount Pleasant High School. This event will benefit the Mount Pleasant High School wrestling team. Much like our High School League motto “No Child Left Offstage” we also believe no child should be counted out of the ring.

Pro Wrestling Revolution will also be sending us guest pro wrestlers to play with us in live matches at ComedySportz very soon. Some of you long time fans may remember our “Cage Match” weekends. There’ll be no cage this time but our veteran Actletes may find no place to run when the wrestlers invade our arena!

Super Parka joins the Revolution

Super Parka joins the RevolutionWith only a few months away the show in San Francisco is beginning to take shape. With the confirmation of Lacey Von Erich set to make her return to the NWA and debut for Pro Wrestling Revolution, it is now confirmed who the first Lucha Libre star will be joining the revolution in San Francisco on June 7th at O’Connell High School… he is Super Parka! We are working very had on making this a success for all involved. We are currently finalizing our first sponsor and negotiating with our media sponsor. Tickets are available now online here and in the coming weeks we will announce our tickets outlets to make it easy for all to buy tickets to the event.

We are very excited in having somebody of his caliber on our show and look forward to building a great relationship. Super Parka has the ability to put on incredible matches and amaze with his talent and in the same breathe he has the ability to make a crowd smile, laugh and show them a lighter side of Lucha Libre. Super Parka has wrestled all over the world with and against top names like El Hijo del Santo, Misterioso, Super Astro, Ultimo Guerrero, Hector Garza and many more…

Revolution Images from San Leandro

misterio_rev.jpgA lot of hard work went into this show this past weekend and this show was special to all of us here at Pro Wrestling Revolution because this was our first show officially… and our debut as a member of the National Wrestling Alliance. The show was not perfect but I am very happy with the results. A little under 500 fans came out to support the show and the city of San Leandro. It was great seeing so many familiar faces in the stands and in the locker room. We want to thank everybody that helped to make this show special for all of us and a big thank you to “La Raza” 93.3 for coming out and showing their support. Thank you for seeing the bigger picture and making this a success. From the live broadcast at Adela’s Videoteca, to coming out on show day… thank you! We look forward to our next show on May 17th in San Jose.

Thank you all and ¡Viva la Revolución! Click here to see the images from San Leandro!
