Esto es Guerra!

Pro Wrestling Revolution has worked in the past on documentaries, reality tv, and even featured on our own episode of  Crazy Lands, the first ever 3D Lucha Libre event. This has opened new doors for our company where now we are getting opportunities for wrestlers to take their skills into other directions.

Recently we casted for a commercial campaign where many wrestlers from Pro Wrestling Revolution appeared and now Bryan Cage is known as “Señor Mas” for the commercials for Stockton Hyundai.

For the opportunity we have now, is to send a group of wrestlers to compete and appear on the television show “Esto es Guerra” on EstrellaTV. Casting for this event made booking events look easy, but after 30 wrestlers casted, we have the final 7 chosen and set to compete.

We have wrestlers from California taking part and we are proud to be opening doors for these wrestlers, from Pro Wrestling Revolution and others. We wish all of you the best of luck and remember, “Esto es Guerra!”

It is a Mini Revolution!

Minis have a place in Lucha Libre History since the early 1970’s. The Minis are not restricted to working outside of Mexico, although Mexico is the only country to regularly promote the Minis as a specific division until 2009 when Northern California based Pro Wrestling Revolution became the only United States based promotion to have created a specific Minis World Championship.

Over the years, Minis are patterned after “regular sized” wrestlers and are sometimes called “mascotas” if they team with the regular sized version.

Mini Mariachi™ is no different as he mirrors himself after El Mariachi™; who held the Pro Wrestling Revolution Junior Heavyweight Championship for over 250 days.

On April 27th 2014, as part of Masked Republic’s Masked Mania, Mini Mariachi™ will defend his Pro Wrestling Revolution World Minis Championship against his long time nemisis Pequeño Pierroth.

Who is Mini Mariachi™? Pro Wrestling Revolution has no concerns in letting the masses in on that secret. Mini Mariachi™ is none other than the Original Octogoncito. Octogoncito has had a historic career, part of the originals minis that Antonio Peña created, and has held the Pro Wrestling Revolution World Minis Championship for over 1600 days.

We are honored to continue a Lucha Libre tradition as the Original Octogoncito continues to defend the Pro Wresting Revolution World Minis Title as Mini Mariachi™

feature_sf02214Thank you San Francisco! What a show, great matches from top to bottom, full house, new World Woman’s  Champion and did I say… SOLD OUT?  So much hard work goes into our shows and when we have an event like we did this past Saturday, it will go down as one of the shows we  will never forget, right behind our debut show and our one year anniversary.

The feedback from our fans has been overwhelming and we are listening, so continue to follow us, and spread the word!

One of the most important things to point out, is that the school made money and we made a contribution, like we have for the past 5 years. We know that Bob Gamino will do his best to distribute the money to where it is needed the most.

Pro Wrestling Revolution started it’s 2014 season of Lucha Libre in Watsonville, California with standing room only. With so many questions going into the show, all were answered as our fans came out in support and made this a great night.

We had the debut of Los Campesinos, the newest graduates of the Pro Wrestling Revolution Training Academy, along with Nicole Savoy, Savanah Riley and the son of the legendary  Dinamita family, Cien Caras Jr as he seemed out Revolution gold as he faced Pro Wrestling Revolution World Heavyweight Champion – Blue Demon Jr.

The Border Patrol was able to bring gold to the group as Derek Sanders defeated El Mariachi with help, of sorts from his valet. Things are not quite clear why it happened, but mariachi seemed to forgive her. Only time will tell, but for now, your new Pro Wrestling Revolution Jr. Heavyweight Champion – Derek Sanders.
