Pro Wrestling Revolution is proud to be working with Major League Soccer (MLS) and its San Jose Earthquakes. It was great taking part in their pre-game festival on Sunday, September 14th, at Buck Shaw Stadium, as they took on the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. This as our fourth time we work with the San Jose Earthquakes, and we look forward to a long relationship.
It is always fun to see all the smiles on the kids as they watch the show take place, seeing that is what makes wrestling fun for all involved. We are thankful for the opportunity to put on these shows.
Pro Wrestling Revolution has been a part of the Santa Cruz County Fair in Watsonville for four years and this past event was the biggest one yet. The crowd arrived earlier, they brought tons of energy and made the show one of our most memorable yet. We look forward to seeing you all in 2014.
The amount of fans in attendance can be debated, but a picture is worth…
Pro Wrestling Revolution had the privilege of hosting tryouts for Konnan from AAA in Mexico for the opportunity to go to Mexico and be able to work on at-least two house shows for AAA,the opportunity to train at their school and be able to make their dream a reality.
After many matches and talent from all over California, Washington and Mexico, the decision was made to have more than just one wrestler, so your winners are Wille Mac and Vinnie Massaro. Willie Mack will go to Mexico and both him and Vinnie Massaro are to be used as AAA expands into the United States and onto the El Rey Network when it launches in January of 2014. No wrestler was a loser on this day, as so much talent took part and impressed , and others are being considered and looked at for the casting of the show that will take place in Japan.
Congratulations once again to both Willie Mac and Vinnie Massaro on their accomplishment and we are thankful for being able to be a part of this. We want to thank Kevin Kleinrock from Masked Republic for arraigning the tryouts and to Konnan for sharing his knowledge and his vision of making new stars.

Pro Wrestling Revolution returned to the Santa Clara County Fair, and we could not be any more thankful for the experience. Our company is based out of San Jose, so growing up, going to the Fair was an exciting time to enjoy the rides, food, and all of the entertainment the fair had to offer, and now, being featured at the Fair, and that is fabulous.
The crowd in the Main Stage stands was larger than last year, cheering and screaming, all having a great time. We saw a diverse crowd and we are proud to be able to entertain them all. The amount of kids that were smiling and reaching out for autographs, and a ”high-five” was something our talent will not soon forget.

MASKED REPUBLIC & THE PRO WRESTLING REVOLUTION TRAINING ACADEMY TEAM WITH KONNAN TO PRESENT THE FIRST EVER NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AAA SEMINAR & TRYOUT
August 12, 2013
San Diego, CA-
Masked Republic, the world’s only company “dedicated to the expansion of lucha libre beyond the borders of Mexico,”™ established a developmental system in the United States to prepare and develop pro wrestling/lucha libre talent not only for their own events and productions, but for those of their business partners and associates as well. Two of the centerpieces of the Masked Republic development system are Northern California’s Pro Wrestling Revolution promotion and their Pro Wrestling Revolution Training Academy. Now, for the first time, lucha libre power broker and AAA producer Konnan will head to the Academy in San Jose to evaluate talent for potential use for Mexico’s top promotion.
At this special seminar and tryout, wrestlers will be able to get insight from the lucha legend and former WWF/ECW/WCW star into how to make the transition inside the ring from the American/traditional style of pro wrestling to lucha libre as well as what the company will be looking for from potential new roster members as the company expands operations to include television and live events in the United States in 2014.
For each wrestler who participates, the tryout will consist of a short promo as well as participating in one or more matches which will then be critiqued and feedback provided. At the end of the session, Konnan will choose one participant who will be invited to come to Mexico and wrestle on a minimum of two house shows for AAA as part of an extended tryout.
The seminar/tryout will take place on Saturday morning, September 14, 2013 at the Pro Wrestling Revolution Training Academy in San Jose. Participants should plan to attend the entire session from 8 AM to 1 PM. The cost to pre-enroll in the seminar/tryout is $100. If any additional slots remain they will be available on September 14th at a cost of $125. Space will be limited to a maximum of 40 wrestlers, so early pre-enrollment is encouraged.
In addition to Konnan, Masked Republic president and executive producer Kevin Kleinrock (XPW, Wrestling Society X, Urban Wrestling Federation, Viva La Lucha, Lucha Las Vegas, Viva L.A. Lucha) will be attending in order to scout potential talent for upcoming events and productions.
“We are extremely excited to be able to present this incredible opportunity to wrestlers, not just from Northern California but anywhere in the world, to join us in San Jose on September 14th to get inside one of the most influential and creative minds in Mexican wrestling and to be seen in the ring as AAA looks to inevitably expand it’s roster in the year to come,” said Masked Republic CEO Ruben Zamora. “Our relationship with the Roldan family and AAA, and our decade plus relationship with Konnan give us a very unique opportunity which combined with our dedication to the development of tomorrow’s lucha libre stars makes this one-time event a great win for everyone involved.”
“I could not be more proud that Masked Republic and Konnan have selected our Pro Wrestling Revolution Training Academy to host this seminar/tryout,” said PWR owner/promoter Gabriel Ramirez. “We have worked hard to build our reputation as one of the world’s premiere lucha libre training facilities outside of Mexico and look forward to not only having or own students and graduates shine in front of Konnan but to be able to open our doors to the talented performers who will come into our Academy for their chance to be seen.”
The seminar/tryout will begin at 8 AM on Saturday, Septmeber 14 in San Jose, California. Discounted pre-registration and further details are available at http://prowrestling-revolution.com/talent-scouts/aaa-tryouts/. Only 40 slots are available and are on a first to register basis.
